Forty products, six patterns

Five shoe patterns and the things that keep them. Each product page states the last it is cut on, the width across the ball in millimetres, how the sole is attached, and whether that construction can be resoled.

Oxford

The quarters are stitched under the vamp. The lacing closes to a single line and cannot open past it — the most formal pattern, and the least forgiving on a high instep.

Derby

The quarters sit on top of the vamp and open outward. More room over the instep than any oxford at the same length.

Loafer

No lacing and no strap, so the vamp opening is the entire fit. This is the pattern where measuring your foot before ordering matters most.

Monk

One or two straps over the instep instead of lacing. Some adjustment, but across fixed buckle positions rather than a continuous range.

Boots

Ankle-height patterns built on the same dress lasts. Heavier, slower to break in, and the only shapes that cover the ankle bone.

Care & Sets

Trees, creams, brushes, laces and the resole voucher. The parts of owning a leather shoe that are not the shoe.
