Cordoal is the trading name under which LOC - FÁBRICA DE CALÇADO, LDA sells men's dress footwear directly to consumers through this website. The company registration number, the commercial registry entry and the share capital appear only on this page and in the conditions of sale; they are not used elsewhere on the site.

Atividade e âmbito

Comércio a retalho, à distância, de calçado masculino de vestir, sob a marca Cordoal.

The store sells ready-made men's dress footwear and the accessories that keep it — shoe trees, creams, brushes, laces and an outsole replacement service for Goodyear welted pairs. It does not sell bespoke footwear, and it does not take commissions for shoes cut to an individual foot.

What this store does not sell

• No protective equipment. Nothing here is placed on the market as personal protective equipment. We make no claim of toe protection, penetration resistance, certified slip resistance or antistatic performance, and no product in the range is intended for use where protective footwear is required.
• No medical or corrective claims. We describe what leather and construction do physically. We do not claim that any product corrects gait, improves posture, treats a foot condition or has any therapeutic effect.
• No gambling, adult content, lending, money transmission, virtual currency, firearms, ammunition, tobacco, alcohol, medicines, weapons, investment products, pyrotechnics, regulated medical care, or goods infringing the intellectual property of third parties.

• Direção-Geral do Consumidor (DGC) — the national consumer authority.
• ASAE — Autoridade de Segurança Alimentar e Económica — economic enforcement and market surveillance.
• CNPD — Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados — the supervisory authority for personal data.

Resolução alternativa de litígios

In a consumer dispute that we have not been able to settle directly, a consumer may refer the matter to the alternative dispute resolution entity with territorial competence over our registered office:

Felgueiras falls within the territorial scope of this centre. Consumers resident in another European Union member state can find the entity competent for them through the European Commission consumer redress portal or through Centro Europeu do Consumidor Portugal.

The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and no longer accepts complaints, so this site does not link to it.

Every trader supplying consumers in Portugal, including traders operating only online, must provide access to the electronic complaints book. A complaint filed there reaches the competent authority directly and we must answer it within 15 business days.

Propriedade intelectual

The texts, photographs, drawings, product names and page layouts on this site are ours, or are used with permission. The ornament on the Bar Loafer, the pattern drawings used for navigation and the material pictogram set drawn for this site are original work created for Cordoal. They may not be copied for commercial use without written permission.

We do not reproduce the signature hardware, lasts, patterns or names of any other maker. Where a construction has a generic industry name — Goodyear welted, Blake stitched, cemented — that name describes the method, not any company.

O site

This site is a commercial website operated by the trader identified above. It is accessible without registration or password, in every country to which we ship. Prices are shown in United States dollars and are the same for every visitor.

We reserve the right to correct manifest errors in prices or product descriptions. Where a price is obviously wrong and an order has been placed against it, we will contact the customer before dispatch and either honour the correct price with their agreement or cancel and refund in full.
